D.O.C. "Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco "

This wine has been produced in Piedmont since the 15th century, in the hills around Asti between the communes of Agognano, Pino d'Asti, Passerano Marmorito, Berzano, Moncucco and Castelnuovo Don Bosco, hence its name. Made from the grape variety Malvasia di Schierano.
Cherry red in colour, with the fragrance of the original fruit, sweet in flavour and slightly aromatic. Frizzante and spumante versions are produced.
Should be drunk within a year of production, preferably accompanied by sweets or fruit-based desserts.
